The year started with field research in the villages of Krklino and Mustafino in Macedonia in April, on invitation by Julia Lechler of the Robert-Bosch-Stiftung, and included a gorgeous premiere party in Mustafino and a screening and lecture evening at TOCKA in Skopje.
In June and July we continued our painting-for-a-film barter trades with a big former state farm in Andrieseni, and a smallholding in Manastirea Humorului, both in northeastern Romania, supported by Vector Gallery in Iasi.
Last year’s English and Welsh field research was shown at Acton Scott Farm Museum in Church Stretton, Shropshire (in cooperation with Adrian Plant, Shropshire Museums) in May and June.
In december opens an exhibition at Städtische Galerie Nordhorn in northern Germany, the first solo show focusing on I like being a farmer so far.
